A common trend nowadays is removing the wheel covers and adding a center cap & trim ring ... the police cruiser look. Sonny in Knoxville, TN bought & painted a set of steel Civic rims to put on his 1988 Honda Accord. Ever try painting your own hubcaps? Annie of Monrovia, CA purchased a reconditioned set of wheel covers for her 1996 Toyota Camry after trying her own artistry.
"Big mistake ... some things are left best to the experts. I was very careful with the prep work but they didn't turn out very well. We put the wheel covers on this morning and they look wonderful.
